What do you think if one day you are very hungry and have nothing to eat? What do you think if you can give rice to poor people around the world to help them? What do you think if you can do that by just playing game?

That true! you can do that by just playing game, a really simple game: guess the meaning of the English words!!! For each word you guess right, 20 grains will be donated to poor people. And imaging that if you play this game everyday, how many rice you will donate to the world? :D

After visit the site, just click the words on the center to start playing, you grain will be counted after you make a right choice. To keep track with your grain, you can set option to know how many grain that you have donated total. Click on the tab Option on the top then click 'Remember my Total Rice Donation from the last time I played when I start FreeRice.' as shown below, and then remember to click Set Option

Some facts:

• This site is a new site (created in October 2007) but had gain a significant result.
• Free-rice is a non-profit organization
• From the beginning until today August 22 2008, this site gain total 41,406,617,390 grains (remember that there are 48 grains per gram and let count how many kilograms it is :D. That a really impressive number by just playing game!)
• Who pay for the donated rice? The rice is paid for by the sponsors whose names you see on the bottom of your vocabulary screen when you enter a correct answer. These sponsors support both learning (free vocabulary for everyone) and reducing hunger (free rice for the hungry). We thank these sponsors for their participation at FreeRice.
• The first FreeRice donations have gone to purchase rice: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Uganda, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar.

As seeing this website, i just wonder that, why we don't have a project that make many schools in Vietnam play this game? There are many schools in Vietnam so that will make a big help to poor people in the world. Moreover, when playing this game, we can teach our children and also others poor children more English words just for free! Why don't we?

In this post, I'll show you the website that i really interesting in. I just found this site 3 days ago and it make me extremely exciting! This site is about all the creative title (text and animation) that designers made for many films (In my opinion, all these title are unique and i am sure that you will not believe in what your eyes have seen). This website has really simple interface. On the left side is the list of all film titles that you can find in this site from A to Z. On the right side is the thumbnail of the title and some brief description about the title such as company and designers who made it. Watch and enjoy yourself.
