Along the River During Ching Ming Festival

OK, this week i will intro you another kind of photography, called "PANORAMA". According to Wikipedia, paranoma is

In its most general sense, a panorama is any wide view of a physical space. It has also come to refer to a wide-angle representation of such a view — whether in painting, drawing, photography, film/video, or a three-dimensional model. Further, the motion-picture term, pan or panning, is derived from "panorama".
And below is an example of Paranoma. This picture is very famous, 清明上河图 - Along the River During Ching Ming Festival - Thanh Minh Thượng Hà Đồ. It was created by Zhang Zeduan - 張擇端 - Trương Trạch Đoan. Zhang Zeduan (traditional Chinese: 張擇端; simplified Chinese: 张择端; pinyin: Zhāng Zéduān; Wade-Giles: Chang Tse-tuan) (1085-1145 AD), alias Zheng Dao, was a famous Chinese painter during the twelfth century, during the transitional period from the Northern Song to the Southern Song Dynasty.

Because the picture i really really large so i just take some small areas to show you as the preview.













In case you interested in this picture, i have provided you the original version of this picture. The resolution is about 30,000 x 926 pixel (OMG! Hix) and about 7.68 MB. But i think this is not a problem for this priceless panorama. Enjoy! (these two picture are taken from Wikipedia)

Photographic mosaic - Unique style of Art

Ok, today i will introduce you to another kind of art, it really unique and beautiful. It not like any other kind of arts which is usually be created by just one piece of image. Photographic mosaic is created by the combination of many small pictures (usually is the same themes as the large picture or it can be any themes that the author like). According to the online dictionary Wikipedia, the definition of Photographic mosaic is:
Photographic mosaic (also known under the term Photomosaic, a portmanteau of photo and mosaic) is a picture (usually a photograph) that has been divided into (usually equal sized) rectangular sections, each of which is replaced with another photograph of appropriate average color. When viewed at low magnifications, the individual pixels appear as the primary image, while close examination reveals that the image is in fact made up of many hundreds or thousands of smaller images. They are a computer created type of montage. Originally, the term photomosaic referred to compound photographs created by stitching together a series of adjacent pictures of a scene.
And now are some example of Photographic mosaic that i have found on the internet. Most of them are amazing (in my opinion. Hehe). Hopefully you will like it.
